Throughout St. Francis of Assisi Pastorate
Summer Series
Our pastorate San Damiano: Summer Series invites all high school students to kickstart their summer break with five nights of intentional community, ample prayer, and healthy competition.
Beginning this year's series on June 7th marks the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. We'll be spending our evenings rooted in the Eucharist as we seek to learn about Jesus's divine humility revealed to us in simple bread and wine. Join us June 7 - 11, 2026 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at St. Katharine Drexel.
San Damiano: Large Group Events
Inspired by the challenge given to St. Francis of Assisi at San Damiano to "Rebuild my Church," high school students throughout our pastorate join together to build community amongst our parishes and to strengthen personal prayer.
From dodgeball tournaments to Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, something new is taking place at San Damiano each month. Contact Lizzie, our Pastorate Director of Youth Ministries, to learn how you can get involved.
San Damiano is from 6:30pm - 8:00pm on the first Sunday of every month. Location varies so keep an eye on the newsletter!
Discipleship Groups
Weekly discipleship groups are for high school students looking for something greater: greater understanding of our church teaching, greater relationship with Christ, and greater support from their peers.
These small groups of 6-8 students are parish-based and meet at varying times and locations throughout our community. Students and adult leaders interested in joining, or forming, a small group should contact our Pastorate Director of Youth Ministries.
Steubenville Conference
Steubenville Conference is an annual weekend away for high schoolers to encounter Christ through the Sacraments and world-class speakers. Their mission is "to build the Church by evangelizing, equipping, and empowering God's children to become radical and joyful disciples."
Our pastorate will be traveling to the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN the weekend of July 24-26, 2026. The total cost of $370 includes a student's deposit, conference fees, transportation, lodging, and most meals.
